In Yu Hua Meng’s forecast for the Wood Snake year, she observed that “[snakes] gain all of their momentum from coiling inwards and conserving rather than externalizing.” In this way, we were invited to “hold back,” withdraw into the dark and hidden realms, and get comfy with confusion and mystery.
